Anneliese Venter

Founder

I am a Licenciate (L.I.S.T.D.) of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance - CECCHETTI Faculty.

My passion is working with dancers who would like to improve their technique to help them further their dancing.

Having trained dancers to company level and students winning awards, the younger dancer is not forgotten where care is taken to instil correct technique and the love of dance.

"I feel incredibly privileged to have danced under the instruction of Anneliese Venter. Not many teachers can instil such a deep love of ballet while also training you to be the best possible dancer you can be.

Thanks to Anneliese's training, I won several Gauteng Cecchetti vocational awards, including Winner of Grade 5; Advanced 1; and Advanced 2; as well as the Natalie Stern Award for The Most Artistic Dancer (2010 and 2011). Anneliese also coached me through Concours de Ballet festivals where, thanks to her instruction, my performances won several awards.

Despite no longer being a dancer by profession, I love to drop in and do a class from time to time. When you take a class with Anneliese, you always work incredibly hard, of course, but you also have fun, learn life lessons, and make life-long friends. I am lucky to be a part of Anneliese’s ballet family!"
